About Masa
Masa Township Experience is a locally led cultural tourism business built around personal connection, storytelling and genuine community interaction.
Masande Mhluzi
Also known as Masa6lackalion
Masande was born in Langa Township and has experienced different sides of Cape Town while growing up across township and suburban communities. That background gives him a personal connection to the place he now shares with visitors.
His work extends beyond tourism. He is a DJ, fashion designer and creative entrepreneur. He creates hand-painted garments with abstract designs under Alienshit Apparel, and has been involved in social media and creative work through The Priesthood collective.
Creativity, storytelling and connecting with people are central to his approach, and they shape how the experiences are run: as a human, locally led day rather than a conventional sightseeing route.
He is also a proud father of twin girls, who inspire his ambition to build something meaningful, sustainable and community-minded.
