What we sell
- Langa Lifestyle Tour: R1,000 per person, 2 to 4 hours
- Langa Food Tasting Experience: R1,500 per person, 2 to 3 hours
- Full Experience Combo: R2,200 per person, 4 to 6 hours, including a short break
Prices are per person in South African rand and cover the experience itself. Food, drinks and anything you buy from vendors on the day are yours to settle directly, unless the experiences page says otherwise.
The business is under the threshold the Value Added Tax Act 89 of 1991 sets for compulsory registration, so no VAT is added and the price you are quoted is the price you pay.
Booking and payment
Nothing is bought on this website. You send an enquiry with the form on the contact page, on WhatsApp, by phone or by email, and the booking is agreed between you and us in that conversation. Bookings made through GetYourGuide run on GetYourGuide's own terms and payment process.
Payment is cash on the day, in South African rand, straight to us. There is no card machine, no deposit and nothing to pay in advance.
Cancellation and refunds
Nothing is paid before the day, so cancelling costs you nothing. Tell us as early as you can and the day is released, which matters when only ten guests fit in one.
Once an experience has been paid for and has gone ahead, the payment is not refunded.
If we cannot run an experience, because of weather, illness or anything else, you are offered another date or your money back.
Safety and your own responsibility
The experiences are walking tours through a living neighbourhood. Follow your guide, keep to the group and treat homes, businesses and the people you meet with respect. Tell us before the day about anything that affects walking, food or health, so we can plan the day around it.
Photos and content
The photos on this site were taken on tour and belong to Masa Township Experience. Please do not reuse them without asking. If you appear in a photo and would rather not, write to ogblackacex@gmail.com and it comes down.
